1. If FFvsXIII actually looks like the stuff we have so far, then I am there day 1 pre-order.

And yes, noobs have different skill sets. That is because they are NEW. They have not yet developed the skill necessary to be veterans. If they already had veteran skill-set that would mean that they are OLD, EXPERIENCED players, not NEW INEXPERIENCED.
Actually Surfaced's original point and Cooperdnizzle's point are not mutually exclusive and I think that they are both correct to some degree. However, Surface is more right. By far the biggest part of this is marketing.

If it only has 300 hours of playtime then it is smaller than Oblivion. I had 170 hours into Oblivion and I wasn't only about 25% in. I had only done one guild and had not closed a single Oblivion gate.
Microsoft does know how important a game like MW3 is do their XBL ecosystem. That is one of the few lines I agree with. M$ does need the annual, new, big-budget online shooter to validate XBL for its customers. So I don't knock M$ for partnering up with Call of Duty.
There are a couple of things that I must violently disagree with.
1. The 360 does not have the best controller.

I'm not getting the second joke. Where is the pedophilia in FFXIII? I didn't detect any. You may be able to make a case for lesbianism (although I am not totally sold on that either) but I didn't see any pedophilia.
You're just taking the wrong message. The message to take from that is that if a woman has two boobs, a vagina, and a flat stomach, she's do-able, even if she's got four arms.
I'm sure we can think of something to do with the two extra arms if we try hard enough. But an extra hundred pounds of belly fat???...nothing we can do with that.

I co-sign with Wizziokid, Microsoft isn't giving anybody a free game this generation. Microsoft doesn't even let the game developers give away free DLC on fully paid-for games.
I had a bad feeling about KZ3 when I saw that they cut the maximum number of players. Why would they do that? I can only guess that it was because of Sony requiring that KZ3 support 3-D and therefore GG need the processing bandwidth.

I want to know what the hell happened to Snow. I thought him a Serah were married, or at least getting married. I know he never gave up on her throughout all of FF13. Suddenly she is running around with this brand new joker. I get that they think Lightning is dead but that doesn't explain what happened to her husband/fiancee.
This position is not sustainable. What about games like Resident Evil 5 and Modern Warfare that require a split-screen for the multi-player. Are we supposed to play that with a Wii-mote?
This decision is not going to hold out until the console release. This like the time before the PS3 released when, Sony said that some PS3's would not have standard hard drives and some of them would not play HDCP protected discs.

So basically it is just like we all thought when we first heard about it; XIII-2 contains all the stuff that was cut out of the original XIII.

I want the SC2 music and maps. It always amazes me why the new games don't contain the old costumes, maps, etc.
I'm glad because, as others have said, the sooner they finish this the sooner I can get versus. In the meantime, I will pray to God that Enix doesn't nerf it like they nerfed FF13.
